Copilot admin configuration

A super-user configures Copilot under Admin Settings:

  1. Choose provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, or OpenAI-compatible endpoint).
  2. Set model and encrypted API key (BYOK).
  3. Enable Copilot for the instance.
  4. Optionally add organization guidance text (tone / product rules) appended after built-in guardrails.

Builder users see safe metadata only (provider, model, configured status). Guidance text is not returned on the public builder metadata endpoint.

Quotas​

The server enforces a request quota per user (default order of magnitude: tens of requests per minute). Exact limits follow your server configuration.
