Version control with Git

Connect a Groove Builder application to a Git repository to commit, branch, and collaborate on app definitions.

Typical workflow

1. Connect a repository.
2. Commit and push changes from the editor.
3. Work with branches for features and reviews.
4. Import an existing app repo when needed.

Protected branches and preview mode can block writes (including some Copilot apply actions). See Git troubleshooting.
